Obrady Jury 18. Międzynarodowego Triennale Małe Formy Grafiki, Polska – Łódź 2023

[ENG BELOW] Tydzień temu (18-19 maja) w Ośrodku Propagandy Sztuki w Łodzi odbyły się obrady międzynarodowego Jury 18. Międzynarodowego Triennale Małe Formy Grafiki, Polska – Łódź 2023. O wynikach artyści zostaną powiadomieni do 15 czerwca. Lista uczestników wystawy zostanie ogłoszona na stronie internetowej Miejskiej Galerii Sztuki w Łodzi. W konkursie udział wziąć mogli artyści profesjonalni z kraju i zagranicy oraz studenci ostatniego roku wyższych uczelni artystycznych.

 


Z ponad 1200 prac 10 zestawów, które zostaną wyróżnione Honorowymi Medalami, wyłoniło Jury:

 

  • Anne Valkenborgh, dwukrotna laureatka Medalu Honorowego (w 2008 i 2020 roku). Absolwentka grafiki na École nationale supérieure des arts visuels de La Cambre (1989), grafik, a od 1994 profesor wklęsłodruku w Saint-Luc (Bruksela) i École de Recherche graphique (Bruksela), od 1983 prowadzi własną działalność artystyczną.
  • Piotr Gojowy, laureat Medalu Honorowego w 1993 r. W 1985 r. uzyskał dyplom z wyróżnieniem z zakresu grafiki warsztatowej (druk wklęsły) w pracowni prof. Marii Pokorskiej na Wydziale Sztuk Pięknych Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu. Od 1985 r. pracuje w Zakładzie Grafiki, gdzie zorganizował i prowadzi Pracownię Litografii. W latach 1990-1996 prodziekan Wydziału Sztuk Pięknych. Od 2010 – profesor sztuk plastycznych. Zajmuje się litografią, wklęsłodrukiem, monotypią. Od wielu lat z sukcesami uprawia małą formę graficzną.
  • Piotr Ciesielski – absolwent Państwowej Wyższej Szkoły Sztuk Plastycznych w Łodzi (obecnie Akademii Sztuk Pięknych im. W. Strzemińskiego). Dyplom w 1982 r. na Wydziale Malarstwa i Grafiki w Pracowni Malarstwa prof. Stanisława Fijałkowskiego i w Pracowni Malarstwa prof. Leszka Rózgi. Profesor w łódzkiej ASP, kieruje Pracownią Obrazu w Przestrzeni w Instytucie Grafiki Artystycznej na Wydziale Sztuk Pięknych. Twórczość w zakresie grafiki, malarstwa i fotografii.
  • Bogusław Deptuła, historyk i krytyk sztuki, kurator wielu wystaw oraz marszand. Obecnie współprowadzący GalerięART.pl w Warszawie. Wykładowca w łódzkiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych im. W. Strzemińskiego, były redaktor naczelny miesięcznika Art Business. Autor licznych artykułów z dziedziny sztuki, literatury i kulinariów.
  • Dariusz Leśnikowski, kurator Triennale, kulturoznawca, historyk sztuki, kurator wystaw, adiunkt w Instytucie Kultury Współczesnej Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego, a od stycznia 2018 dyrektor Miejskiej Galerii Sztuki w Łodzi. Autor książek, artykułów i tekstów krytycznych na temat Sztuki. Redaktor lub współredaktor wielu publikacji o sztuce. Stały współpracownik Galerii Amcor w Łodzi.

 

Nad poprawnym przebiegiem obrad czuwała Małgorzata Dzięgielewska – sekretarz i koordynatorka Triennale, historyczka sztuki. Absolwentka Wydziału Filozoficzno-Historycznego UŁ oraz podyplomowych studiów: Zarządzanie Kulturą na Wydziale Filologicznym UŁ i Muzealnictwo w Instytucie Etnologii i Antropologii Kulturowej UJ. Kuratorka wystaw młodej sztuki, autorka wielu artykułów o sztuce współczesnej, redaktorka wydawnictw MGSŁ.

Last week (May 18th – 19th), the international Jury of the 18th International Triennial of Small Graphic Forms, Poland – Lodz 2023 was held at the Art Propaganda Center in Lodz. By June 15th the artists will have been notified of the results of Jury's deliberations. The list of exhibition participants will be announced on the website of the City Art Gallery in Lodz. The competition was open to professional artists from Poland and abroad, as well as students of the last year of art academies.


From over 1200 works, 10 sets that will be awarded with Honorary Medals were selected by the Jury:

 

  • Anne Valkenborgh, two-time Medal of Honor recipient (in 2008 and 2020). A graduate in graphic arts of the École nationale supérieure des arts visuels de La Cambre (1989), graphic artist, and since 1994, professor of intaglio printing at Saint-Luc (Brussels) and École de Recherche graphique (Brussels), since 1983, running her own artistic activity.
  • Piotr Gojowy, recipient of the Medal of Honor in 1993. In 1985 he obtained a diploma with honors in the field of graphic arts (intaglio printing) in the studio run by prof. Maria Pokorska at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Since 1985 he has been working at the Graphics Department, where he runs the Lithography Techniques Studio. In the years 1990-1996, vice-dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts. Since 2010 – professor of fine arts. He specializes in lithography, intaglio printing and monotype. For many years successfully practising small graphic forms.
  • Piotr Ciesielski – a graduate of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Lodz (currently The Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz). Diploma in 1982 at the Faculty of Painting and Graphics in the Painting Studio run by prof. Stanisław Fijałkowski and Painting Studio run by prof. Leszek Rózga. Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, head of the Image in Space Studio at the Institute of Graphic Arts. He deals with graphic arts, painting and photography.
  • Bogusław Deptuła, art historian and critic, curator of many exhibitions and art dealer. Currently, co-leader of GaleriaART.pl in Warsaw. Lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, former editor-in-chief of the Art Business monthly. Author of numerous articles in the field of art, literature and cuisine.
  • Dariusz Leśnikowski, curator of the Triennial, culture expert, art historian, curator of exhibitions, assistant professor at the Institute of Contemporary Culture at the University of Lodz, and since January 2018, director of the City Art Gallery in Lodz. Author of books, articles and critical texts on art. Editor or co-editor of many art publications. Permanent collaborator of the Amcor Gallery in Lodz.

 

The debate was coordinated by Małgorzata Dzięgielewska, secretary and coordinator of the Triennial, and art historian. A graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy and History of the University of Lodz and postgraduate studies: Cultural Management at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Lodz and Museology at the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the Jagiellonian University. Curator of young art exhibitions, author of many articles on contemporary art, editor of the publications of the City Art Gallery in Lodz.
